Either the Incredible India campaign is really working or international travel bloggers seen to have discovered India with gusto in 2018. While casually going through my Instagram and Twitter feeds a couple of days ago, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that quite a few of them were in India right now. I decided to list them down in this post – as a way for you to discover them and for me to discover my country from multiple different angles. Here are five international bloggers in India right now whose adventures you can follow as well.
Love and Road
Robson Cadore and Natalie Deduck are A Brazilian couple who can give you major travel goals with all their travels on their travel blog Love and Road. I have been following them for a couple of years now and have always admired (and slightly envied) all the places, food (omg, the food!) and people they meet up. Their style of travel is an interesting mix between luxury and budget and a niche that’s almost unique in the field. To top this, Rob is also an ultra-marathoner and inspires with fitness goals with updates from his Ironman and marathon challenges on the blog. Nat, on the other hand, is the dominant half when it comes to writing the Love and Road blog and discovering hidden places across their travels. The couple are digital nomads who have been travelling the world since I’ve been following them and they’ve finally landed in India. I can’t wait to see what places they discover on this trip.

Travelling Gays
Often times, our version of travel is limited to our daily worldview. Which is why it’s such a refreshing change to see Doug and Sanj of the Travelling Gays have as much fun as they’re having in India currently. The Great-Britain based travelers are a great face of the rising LGBT traveller community that has seen a steady rise since homosexuality has been outlawed in many parts of the world. Like their website, positive news on the LGBT front in India is still a work-in-progress. With more travelers like this two, hopefully the Indian government and Supreme Court can both ease the pain of the community in India soon.

Psycho Traveller
One of the first travelers who introduced me to the concept of vlogging, Birmingham-based traveller Aly’s travels are inspiring for the way she documents and deals with everyday travel. I don’t know about you but sometimes the artificial perfectness of travel really gets to me. At such times, I always invariably get calmed after watching one of Aly’s Youtube videos in which she just sits in front of the camera has talks to you with her trademark sense of humour. There’s no filtered perfection or unattainable luxury goals here, just a simple, honest traveller telling you how it is. God knows we need more travelers like her in the age of Instagram filters.
Looking at her India specific videos and especially the Mumbai video has been a delight in recent days.
Lost With Purpose
Lost with Purpose was run by two bloggers Alex and Sebastian before Alex broke the news that they had broken up and she’s been travelling in India solo over the past few weeks. The duo has crossed paths in dangerous places like Pakistan and Afghanistan and lived to tell the tale. There is a new direction the blog will take in the coming months and I am excited to know that India will feature prominently in it. Alex has been travelling around North East India for a while and I’m sure some exciting travel posts are coming up soon. Feeling lost after a breakup is fine but if your purpose is travel, then exciting times can’t be too far behind.

Crazy Sexy Fun Traveller
Alexandra Kovanoca, the person behind this blog, almost seems Indian if you follow her stories on Instagram. She loves Indian food (and is a vegan traveller), practices yoga alone or with friends and is made for the beach, despite living in cold Snina, the easternmost city of Slovakia. She’s now in India and it’d be great to follow her adventures in the country to see how much of her food and yoga habits get affected. Since she’s just about starting her journey in India, this might be a good time to follow her adventures too.
